(Her name is Charis too- how cool??). Anyways, I've been reading baby wise (which my mom never used but had great babies!) and I've been wondering if I could balance it and keep some of the same Concepts but not be afraid to switch things up sometimes and be more flexible with the schedule... So this was a great example! Thanks :) -CoriMrs. Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17804663166628504047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4884056286591961829.post-37591299186640497082016-01-25T20:21:03.788-08:002016-01-25T20:21:03.788-08:00Exactly! :) Thank you for stopping by!Exactly! :) Thank you for stopping by!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06908769263879160520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4884056286591961829.post-92134301865162874392016-01-25T19:01:35.151-08:002016-01-25T19:01:35.151-08:00This was so encouraging! My first was a baby-wise by the book..in fact, they probably wrote the book about him because he naturally just followed it. You could set your watch by his eating schedule. My second baby humbled me BIG TIME! All my "rules" just flew out the window because she was so unpredictable and woke up in the night until I weaned her. With my third, I just let go of the "rules" and have really enjoyed this season. She doesn't always eat right when she wakes up, but who cares! Sometimes I nurse her to sleep and sometimes I can just lay her down. It's just been so freeing to stop looking at the clock and just relax knowing that I won't mess her up for life if she's not following a strict schedule. It has also helped that my expectation is not that she'll sleep perfectly through the night. She does most nights, but I'm not mad or annoyed or worried that I'm doing something wrong when she doesn't. Emmy Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12469087648286636266noreply@blogger.com
